I am not going to judge them for something like this. Things happen who cares its just for beta invites. It is not like the game was suppose to have gone live. Better to make the mistakes now then at launch. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Even despite how buggy AoC was/is.

Funcom tweeted that the start was delayed four hours... so 5 PM CST :-)

Servers are probably flooded.

it says 000:00:00 time left till it starts, yet nothing is there.
Site is working, though the 000:000:00 clock is disapointing, the acount management pages are working.
That and its quite normal for 1st day of beta's to have start up problems. Heck look at retails, WoW is probebly the best excample of that.
The site seems to be working fine for me, although the counter is just sitting at zero with nothing changed.
