Eden Eternal Can't Connect

I haven't been able to play Eden Eternal in two weeks cause everytime I click on the launcher it says http cannot connect.I do not understand why that it cause I have firefox  and it works just fine. I have contacted aeria games tech support but they basically brushed me off. I have tried many things to get it to work but nothing helps. I am ready to throw in the towl. I do not understand why firefox can access the internet on my computer but EE can't. I am using windows vista. I have already tried port forwarding,firewall settings,virus scans,spyware scans,updating the software on my pc,uninstalling and reinstalling the game 3 times but none of it worked.If you have any advice please let me know.
