Think there'll be gambling in Nar Shaddaa?

You would think by default the answer would be yes, but because of how companies like to cut stuff like that out of games because of the kids playing and the like, it makes me wonder if we'll actually see it. SWG got spice cut out because it could be viewed as a "drug." What do you think? I think it'd be a shame if not.

at launch i doubt it since pazaak isn't making it in for launch. after launch if they start implenting the mini games they want to get in then maybe. . there are already casino party boats flying around on nar shaddaa but no word as to wether there are games on them to play, so i could see something getting added to them at some point but only time will tell.
Yeah mini-games are not going to be in the game at launch but they have said it is something they hope to put out soon after launch.
The games that they have said they want to get into the game are

Sabacc
Dejarik (Holochess)
If you look on the pictures of the player ship interiors you can see a hologame table in most of them. So the art assests are there for them to hook the games into they just need to build them.
That being said its not like a small mini-game is a make or break deal for me so I can wait for them to put them in post launch.

I would love to see actual functioning casinos. Playing with in game credits, pawn shops, loan sharks. "I lost my speeder betting on red. How much for my companion?"
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them?
