What part of a saber nunchuck could you safely hold onto without severing your hands?!?
On top of that horrible outcome.. the BeamChucks would have no weight....so the whole idea fails.
Actually, the Beamchucks (I like that name btw) would have to have two emittors connected by a chain of some sort. Both emittors would have to be at least big enough to handle and the "lightblade" would not need to be very long at all to be effective.

Why does a Lightsaber stop at 3 feet? I want a light saber that when I turn it on, it goes out forever and I can chop whole solar systems in half as I walk around.
Well for one thing, force whips already exist with the witchs of dathomir, so lightsaber manipulation is obviously viable, but the fact is, Lightsabers are a Jedi tool and arnt to be changed or played with lightly, a Jedi wouldnt be trying to change his saber around. On the otherhand, if your looking for lightssaber strength weapons, and weapons that can easily stand their ground against lightsabers you have Vibro weapons, Vibro weapons come in all shapes N sizes, from Vibro Battles Axes, to Vibro Knucklers( Pretty much what your looking for when the lightsaber knuckles ), to Vibro lances. Honoestly I've been a little disappointed to in the weapon selection, it seems like each class has like one or two weapon choices they have to stick with and thats pretty lame and restricting, but it is what it is, I'm hoping they havent released alot of info on weapons and such yet, but its not looking likely.
