You should note that the 5770 has since been renamed to 6770. AMD modified the BIOS to support HDMI 1.4a (for stereoscopic 3D Blu-Ray), and decided that that was worth 1000 naming convention points.
would have been nice to get a bios update for the 5770 instead lol
