Free Red Dead Redemption DLC Coming In September

As a thank you to fans for playing Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer modes, Rockstar Games is offering a free DLC pack in September.

The Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack features new multiplayer characters and locations in which to play the title's various multiplayer modes.

Rockstar also says that it's preparing a patch (for release before the free DLC) that will bring back the original Undead Overrun multiplayer mode settings.

No exact date for Myths and Mavericks has been announced.

    Meh, sold my copy long ago. Aiming DLC solely at online players doesn't make us singleplayers open our wallets. I would have been willing to pay for DLC that actually added/expanded the singleplayer campaign, but I do not play console games online.
