Online fees and class question

First i was wondering if playing online with a PS2 has any fees besides the FFXI Membership fee.

Second i was wondering if a mix between Thief as a main class and Ranger is a good idea?

no there is no addition montly fee with the PS2 version, but you do have to get the PS2 network adapter and the game ONLY bundles with the PS2 hard drive so the game itself will put you back $100. but other than that, ya its the same montly fee as the pc version.

and ya, that would be a good class set.

Thf is a really fun class and yuou get really rich later in game. Ranger costs alot of gil because of all the arrows and it is very fun so they are both good choices

well i have about 2 mill of equip at lvl 52 and my lvl 60 rng bud can spend 80k a lvl just on arrows and such
