Petition: Community Feedback Group

I'm interested in a Community Feedback Group being established here to assist in the direction of the forums, moderation, rules, etc.  What do you guys and gals think?  I've been a supportive member of MMORPG.com for 7 or 8 years now and sometimes I'd like to be able to provide some feedback that is taken seriously.  From the occasional topic lock, to warnings, bans, and more, I'd like to ensure there is some consistency and flexibility.  The archaic style of moderation that is used here and most everywhere should be phased out for something more dynamic and community-based, in my opinion.  Heck, I'd like it if we could even vote on which games/stories we want covered from time to time.  Is there any support for this?  Let's find out!

Moderation will always be conducted by our moderation team. We've considered adding the community to the mix in internal discussions but the potential for abuse was ultimately not worth it. If we change our position here in the future we'll be sure to let you all know!

As far as ensuring consistency and all that, that is part of my job as Community Manager and as I've said countless times before, simply get in touch with me about any concerns you have and I'll be glad to work with you resolve them. If there's a lesson to be learned for myself and the moderation team we'll be sure to discuss it as we are always looking to improve.
