OH BOY!!!
Will they place it in the C-Store for everyone to buy it? They probably will...
The devs claim its a reward from a future featured episode mission but have hinted variants skins will be in the c-store.
You might as well give up MMOs. It's going that way. BTW you could also post your disdain for c-store type markets in the Everquest forums because it's the same, and a few other games. You'd just rather vent the rage at Cryptic huh? Will you be on the rage when SWTOR releeases with a paid sub and a c-store type that is filled to the brim with stuff? Read up, it's in there.

Ugh, it looks like a Sovereign-class with a goiter from that angle. No thanks.
Those other MMO's didn't launch with a tiny amount of content like STO did and even over a year after launch its bearly improved. All subscription based games with C-Stores suck but Cryptic just takes the piss with theres.
looks dumb. that kind of design with the sides just under the "saucer" are fitting for Romulan..not Federation/StarFleet ships.
Gee I wonder why Star Trek has gone to crap..the decisions these idiots keep making has killed it..shame it's ending with Cryptic..the second-rate..3rd-string MMO incompetance.
In all fairness I don't think the problem is that most mmo developers are moving toward this type of model as much as it is that Cryptic offered up a game that didn't cut it for most people as far as available content and a vast majority of the development they do ends up on the c store. In all fairness that can't be said of most western mmo's with a cash shop.
In all fairness, content is everything... or the lack of
Just ask the Klingon players.
Meanwhile they shuffle to place ugly one episode uniforms, or goofy creatures in the C-Store.
I can't believe that CBS signed off on that ship, but then again they did pick Dervish for an Escort class.
