This is the most extensive write up I've seen so far.  While reading it, I couldn't help but imagine the possibilities of an MMO for this console.  The tablet controller certainly offers some unique advantages for an MMO when compared to a standard console controller.

Make it a Zelda MMO and I think I'd shit myself out of pure excitement!

Either Zelda, a non-kiddy Pokemon or *gasp* a Golden Sun MMO!

Pokemon would work extremely well as an MMO because the entire premise of Pokemon is to train creatures (advancement) and battle other trainers (combat).  It's also quite feasible to have hundreds of Pokemon trainers running around (players) without breaking the "lore" of Pokemon.

Zelda on the other hand...I think making it an MMORPG would be a stretch.  Zelda was never about the "world," it's always about gameplay, puzzles, etc.  It's also extremely centered around Link.  I think you would lose what makes Zelda, Zelda if you turn it into an MMORPG.  It did work fine as a coop lobby type game though...

Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?

We already have a MMO for WiiU, its called Hello Kitty online.

I lost even more respect for Nintendo. What a load of crap!!! all they show is a stupid gimmick controller. Where are the top of the line features? this shit cant be all!!!!

Yep. I'm not even a huge fan of Pokemon but I think the IP fits like a glove for the MMO treatment. I'd love to see Nintendo get behind this. I mainly play the "ranger" types in MMOs and so taming creatures is really appealing to me -- a Pokemon MMO would take this to a whole other level!

Nintendo already said that they would never make an MMO in 2008
