I played this game when it was launched in NA but quit as I expected alot of PvP but for all the first month I spent 99% of my time PvE grinding to level 35.

Has this changed so that PvP is more "available". I.e. not having to run around for an hour in Abyss hoping to find someone to fight with?

It might be server specific as Vaizel has a better balance whereas my server, Zikel sucks for Asmos. And by that point it must suck for Elyos as well. At least for having great pvp experiences.

It seems that Gelkanos or whatever the new 50+ area is called, has more pvp going on. But you have to be 50+ to enter.

my advice, since you don't seem like you want to bolster the lesser asmo faction on some servers, is to go to Vaizel which has a better balance and see for yourself.

then if you can get to 50 go to Gelkanoswhateveritscalled.

You know when I played I constantly had to watch my back while leveling. This I enjoyed because PVE to me is just so boring in all the games. When they made the changes so that world PVP was non existent I quit. It appears they didn't change it back to the way it was. I loved every aspect of the game before this change.

yes its a bit true but in spatalos i got 3 hours of fun in lower abyss then on rifts (its some kind of special remove of penalty on rifts-along the reactivation i think), and men the gear and kinah its much more easy to get

To be specific, what kind of PvP activities are there? Instanced battlegrounds? Keep PvP? Open world PvP?

rifts ,dredgion pvp instance group v group ,fort raids ,daily quests ,weekly quests

they have increased events to encourage more pvp

1 thing though still exists and thats the amount of ap loss at higher ranks .

 

pvp at lower levels changed to the point does it still exist .if it does it cant be much fun as servers are mostly higher level crowd.

they just sort of used a bandage on pvp atm increasing amount of events trying to keep existing subscribers happy .

the new patch's past year decreasing leveling time increasing loot etc in all is recommending you to level up to end game or near it 46+ to fully enjoy pvp .

past 46+ though pvp exists but its small grp mostly or large groups . its nothing like what it was that first half year .
