Eden Eternal: 100k Beta Registrations

The Eden Eternal team has announced that over 100,000 players have registered for the closed beta of the newest addition to the Aeria Games stable of free to play MMOs. Registrations will continue to be accepted through June 2nd when the closed beta kicks off.

“We credit the high number of sign-ups to the amount of new and innovative features available in Eden Eternal,” said JT Nguyen, COO of Aeria Games. “Players are quickly realizing that beyond the anime-inspired visuals, the game offers a robust and feature-rich MMORPG experience.”

I don't see how this has anything new that other mmos haven't already done. I honestly just signed up because it's a new game to play.

Plus I bet most people are signing up because school is almost out and this will be something to play over the summer.

The class-switching ability, while technically done before, hasn't been done quite this way. It's a lot easier and more intuitive to switch your class in Eden Eternal, and it definitely adds to the gameplay rather than cheapening the experience.
