Tips for starting off.

There are several servers, each with 3 starting cities. depending on your choice you may find yourself neck jeep in japanese players, neck deep in english players, or in total solitude.
I personally play on Lindblum, which has a decent sized. english speaking community. I'll welcome anyone to join me if they wish. my character is Dondorian Karmok. Truth be told Ul'dah is the highest populated city on the server from what i've seen. Not that it REALLY matters. if you can find someone who has been to all 3 cities they can teleport you to each one, you touch the aetherite crystal in each city, then you can teleport between them.
opening is different depending on which city you choose as well. all 3 are intertaining.
and yes you can find plenty of people to join you for levequesting on this server.
and if you want to join a linkshell, send me a tell in game and I'll see if the leader is taking new people.
