After I log in, on the top bar of this site, right after my name it says 1 New Messages.
I click that, and... no messages found... wat

Did you check your unverified inbox? mmorpg.com basically has 2 folders your mail goes in: verified mail (stuff from mmorpg.com and sites you specifically add as "okay") and unverified (everything else). You have to go into mail and click on the button that says "unverified mail" mail to see it.
