free trial?

I played this game at release and I wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for me. I'm looking into starting up again but I'd like to see how the game is now before I spend money on a sub I may not use. So I've been looking for a free trial , but have yet to find one. Can anyone help me out?

Edit: If there is no free trial and I wanted to resub, is that even possible? I just tried to login to my SE account and it says my account has already been cancelled.. does that mean I have to repurchase the game to even play?

The game is free to play, they've never actually charged anyone for a sub since the game went 'live'. If you bought the game from launch, you can just login with your details and not worry about the subcription options, since they aren't relevant at this point.

Or, you could just create a new account using a buddy key and play that way.

Regardless of this, the servers were taken down today, and probrably will remain that way for several weeks due to the recent disaster in Japan.

Keep in mind that they have temporarily shut the game down because of the disaster in Japan. So even if you sort your account out it will be a small bit before anyone can access it.
