Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well, It's my first time to blog about a game,so bare with me. Im pretty new about MMORPG PVP GAMING. Im mostly just a PS3 type of person. I don't really have so much time to play when ever I get home, I work 12hour shift 4 to 5 days a week ( hospital.. anyway..), but when I get a chance I Try to turn on my PS3 and play, it really does help me to relax and take my mind off from my daily life.
Anyway I saw an ad for AION 2 yrs ago before the US release. I was amaze how everything looks so beautiful, and artistic. and I saw my twin playing the beta and purchasing the game afterwards. He praise the game so much, he likes the new look for MMO, the flying system. and more. Last november Purchase me a new computer and the AION game, so pretty much Im a newbee.
Aion just took my breath away, with the graphics, I didnt know PC game can be this good. so I played and I played, when ever I get a chance I jump in to my computer and play, it took me weeks and months to actually get use to the game. I must say there is a few bad mouth players, and there is also nice one. I also established a legion within 4 months I manage to have 70 people on board and raise it to lvl 3. I guess I must be doing a good job as the General.
Sometime in 1/2011 my account was suspended for RMT, which I don't have a clue about the word so I google. then I wrote to NCSOFT. they gave me a brief reason on why I was temporarily suspended for 72 hrs. I did my part of explaining, That I don't have a clue of what they are talking about, I don't even know where to get them because seriously I have to call my twin for some help on the games sometimes. I dont even know what LFG is lol hahahah. Im a total NOOB ( now i know the meaning lol hahahah) So no matter how I explained it, or how I try to disect my phrase or words for them to better understand my situation nothing seems to be working. so I just step back and waited for 72 hrs.
Ohh man!!! I was happy after the stupid suspension they gave me. I get to play AION again yay!!!! Im happy to see my legioner, Happy to help each of the member, cause Im the General that's one of my duties in the game=) I starting to love the game, the people I meet, and the game it self is getting fun with the quest, storyline, and the grinding ( which I don't mind), So anyway I so love this game That I decided I need to buy a new computer again but just for gaming and I did , Bought new Alienware cost me like 3000+. I don't want to break the new one I purchase last november because it's not really build for big games like Aion.
After receiving my new computer and my new LED 30 inch pc monitor, the excitement to see, and feel Aion using my new Gadgets was undescrible...Only to find out that I was Suspended for breaching. I don't understand exactly, there is no email, or detail reason not until I went to thier website and writen a report about the issue. ( happened last 2/24/11). The next morning I got a respond saying I was again doing RMT. I was ANGRY! UPSET. and try to explained my self to them again that I was never involved on such scam. after my stupid first suspension I became aware of my responsibilities as a player. I learned what is legal and what is not. and what is fair and what is not.. But before I even started playing the game I've been really just carefull with everything because I'm new.
So with thier judgement they decided to permanently suspend my account, but it does'nt say it can't be reactivated, I start searching forums, websites, about NCSOFT banning issuse. I was not aware that, This company have that kind of reputation to players/ to customers. If I only knew Then I will rethink of buying AION game. I could have invest my time, and my excitement with the game somewhere else, I feel I got cheated on really bad. I tried several email attempt to the GM SURVAILANCE UNIT. and did not get any reply back after the first email (9am)
My character was LvL 47 and I only have less than 6m kinah, I do recieved kinah and different item from my legioners especially after the first time they suspend me they left me with nothing. I just don't understand and even mentioned it to them that if they can double check thier SUPER COMPUTER with my logs.". the only person I trade items and received kinah with is with in our legioner... "I also add if they need to question someone, they should question my legioner where they get the kinah or the item??? Im really confuse. I ran out of things to say to them. because I didnt do any RMT transaction. I asked them if they can double check the logs again... and I hope they will.. and I hope this is just a mistake... My bestfriend who got his first suspension 4 weeks ago because of the RMT accusation. is permanently band just 2 days ago when he only signed 2x after his first suspension. and with that 2x were just both grinding xp and finishing quest.
My question is How accurate is thier report? and thier answers? we bought feel like were getting accuse using thier first report back when we both get our first suspension in which all the accusation is very false and until now,
Like some said, AION is not just a game, WE pay NCSOFT with Real Money ( US dollars) for monthly access, we buy additional product from thier website to better our character and for other services. They should give us the proper action, or service that were entitled for, cause part of that monthly fee is the customer satisfaction. We as a gamer invest our money to the game knowing were secure, that we are treated equally and get the most outstanding service on what they try to advertise as a COMPANY... But in the end company won't survive with out the gamers. our support, and our money that helps them to have ongoing employement .
But do you ever think that maybe some of the GM unit have relationship with the third party proxy? or RMT.. that's why it's hard for them to catch it, or it hard for them to control RMT, and blame it to innocent people?? just a theory, maybe becaue its hard to correct the RMT issue, maybe someon from the inside actually works for them ?? hahahah who knows.. I don't want to make any conspiracy..
Anyway that's my insite about this " Permanently banned "I Currently recieved from them, and I hope they will respond to me ASAP,.. But Im patient, as long they are rightfully doing thier best to help. and HOPEFULLY get my account back I miss playing with my legioners, my friends ( my online family hahaaha) it's so embarassing to admit, but I got Hooked in this game. ...... and I hope I get to play it with my new alienware computer 
and that's the only reason why I bought this computer I want to get a better aion gaming experience

NCSofts monitoring software in respect of RMT is the worst in the business it doesnt care wether you where involved in direct RMT all it cares about is your received proceeds of it.
To give a example.
I was one the first Handicrafters on Perento to reach max level and thus started selling items 1 weekend I had some great luck on Dugolle's Staves critting all 3 I crafted in 1 session. I listed all 3 on the auction house and they where sold that day.
2 days later my account was banned without no email or such like so of course I start complaining about it then finally get to the fact 2 of those Dugolle's where sold to the same player who used Kinah gained from RMT.
NCSoft's logic was "Why would someone buy 2 of 1 item unless they where basically laundering RMT cash" This proves how much they know theyre own game as a Chanter myself I had 3 different Dugolles that I had different manastones and godstones on and why would someone sell items of the market value they where receiving.
I wasnt happy with the ban the impending naked character when I would get my account back after the 72 hr ban so I contacted Lance Stites Aions producer directly who very promtly gave someone a bollocking and got my account sorted out and assured me they would adapt there methods to stop these kind of indirect RMT bans (Yeah I wasnt holding my breath)
Logged my account back in and sure enough my weapons and all kinah where gone, so the ticket frenzy started again 2 weeks later I finally got my gear back.
I logged in that night jus took one look at the game and this experience had left such a bad taste in my mouth that I logged out, uninstalled, cancelled sub and havent returned since.
NCSoft lost a day 1 beta supportive player who bought every pet on their store bought both steam and boxed AOB expansions for the extra pets and had bought other fluff items from the NCStore that day.
As this wasnt the first experience of issues like this with NCSoft and their exceptionally poor blanket banning methods, I had a similar instance in Lineage 2 I simply won't play a NCSoft product again.
I would take things as high as you can first point of call would be Lance Stites Aion's producer http://www.facebook.com/#!/lance.stites Explain the situation as clear as you can.
I've never played Aion so as far as how accurate their system is I can not say However...
I only played WoW once. I took advantage of their free trial and played for like 5-7 days. That's it! Now 4-5 years later I get e-mails from time to time warning me that If I don't stop trying to sell my account, my account will be banned. I've not once responded to any of those e-mails because 1. it was a trial account and 2. I don't give a rats behind if they ban the trial account or not. I don't even remember the login credentials for that account anyhow.
Point being, I'm sure they get things wrong sometimes and it's just too bad it happened to you after you spent 3k on a new rig. BTW are you mad!!! 3k on a new rig? Next time do some research and you'll find people who'll make the same performance machines for half the price.
NcSoft banned 3 accounts of me in Aion ( a year ago )( 1 for botting,1 for complicate reason that i will explain and 1 for RMT )
so..
1st account banned for botting, it was a bot that i had for farm , true story i didnt even posted a petition
2nd account banned because i sold my char when i decided to quit, then the guy scammed me ( got back his money from paypal ) and i posted a petition that someone had access to my account and they where very helpful and gave me my account back. BUT 2 weeks later the character deleted and the reason was powerleveling...they were wrong, i just using proxy when i play from my work and it happened to be a proxy that some powerleveling services use to seem that they are powerleveling customers from europe... I tried to explain them, never had my char back ( my account is still open just the character 50lvl all gold gear deleted)
3rd account ( which was when i decided to play again after the deleted char, and i bought a new account so they are not suspicious ) banned for RMT... i was angry because i was very carefull, i just bout a low ammount and on an other char that was in my clan ( we had that account in clan for those purposes) just because i wanted to level up fast... i was very carefull, i used proxy on the char i had the rmt'd gold and my normal ip on my char, i didnt even mailed, i traded... anyway i got my account banned and even if i explained them that it was just a clannie that wanted to help me they never unbanned me...
i quited by that time... sad.ly.. anyway i m not the kind of guy that plays 100% fair in mmorpgs nowdays, i have a full time job and i try to make thinks easier.. i just try to be carefull ( i had the bot on a different account as my personal farmer, which was super, used proxys etc etc ) BUT i was wrong in all 3 cases and i just quited... the think is that i never got banned for something that is much much more of a reason... and this is speedhack... yeah it worked, you were x2 times faster if you had a dagger and half population used it... so they banned my 3rd account for 5m rtm, and the 2nd account probably deleted by revenge because they understood i sold my account... but all they care is what ever makes them lose money...
my point for your problem OP is 3rd case... u got some money from a clannie that RMT'd.
btw speedhack still works on AION as my old clannies informed me and just needs some setup... That game could be perfect without hacks and so many bans.
Sorry that happened to you, Andro. Maybe it will all get sorted, just give it some more time.
Or you could check out another game to help you relax. I'm not going to play Rift, but it seems to be a good game and your $3k computer should run it fine, and it is a very beautiful game.
By the way, I also work in a hospital. Very stressful job, and gaming helps me to relax too.
ncsoft thing is far reaching!lets say you accepted an item from someone but that someone is a gold digger(real money transaction!he or she doesnt care they move on and that is it!but if ncsoft can see that you accepted an item from that person you have strong chance of being banned!moral?you have to grind to get your stuff dont accept free stuff yes ev en from friend you dont know if they are iinvolved without knowing in rmt!
Tough luck mate i never knew that ncsoft would behave like this but i hope they will get it sorted soon, Good luck!

Long story short NC Soft bans a lot of people for no reason... But then again they were very leanient during the launch of AION so a lot of bots and RMT'ers ran a muck.. After the complaints and people started to leave they got ban happy, i had several friends which i knew didn't RMT (they were more broke them i was) get banned over the course of my time with AION.. I felt bad because one of them had been playing with me for a long time and had JUST finished his miragent leggings (on his first attempt while i was alrdy on my 3rd) and the day after he got banned for RMT.. Eventually he got his character back but it was stripped of his gear, even his nondustructable Miragents gear.

well they wrote me back, and this is what they said :
Thank you for providing us with your interpretation of the Aion User Agreement. Please take a moment to review the agreement to which players have to agree when logging into Aion (http://us.ncsoft.com/en/legal/user-agreements/aion-user-agreement.html).
Section 14 states that NC Interactive reserves the right to suspend or terminate this Agreement (including your Software license and your Account) immediately and without notice if you breach this Agreement or upon game play, chat or any player activity whatsoever which is, in our sole discretion, inappropriate and/or in violation of the spirit of the Game as described in the Rules of Conduct.
Furthermore, section 7 states that you may not sell or auction any Game accounts, characters, items, currency or copyrighted material for real-world money or items or services of any value, nor may you assist others in doing so.
I have reviewed the recorded game logs for your character Androphilic on the Israphel server and am able to see that your character received more than 40 million Kinah from real-money trading (RMT) sources at the need of January, 2011. As such, NCsoft acted within the parameters of the Aion User Agreement.
We have informed you via ticket 110119-000961 that further association with those RMT sources would lead to account closure.
As such, the decision to terminate the account is final. This decision has been thoroughly reviewed by our team, and we maintain absolute confidence in our conclusion. The account will remain permanently closed and is not eligible for reactivation under any circumstances.
At this time I must also inform you that any further inquiries regarding this account may be closed without a response.

My character is lvl 40 during january, I spent so much time grinding, repeating quest 10x, selling my not usefull items, and again the item i recieved or some kinah is just with in my legioner, I trust them, we play togeher , we quest together, and we chat while playing, so I never doubted them, what they are saying That those are RMT back in january, then suspend me for 3 days. now im suspended permanently, base on the report back in January when before I get my first SUSPENSION?
Im really confuse, the last time im trying to log in thursday , I was not able to because I breach. all Im asking is for what grounds, they keep saying RMT, but they sent me this report..... that is base from MY FIRST SUSPENSION ...=( that I never did. I email them again and let see if they will reply, I guess i can't play aion anymore nor open a new account?
This is so unfair. you spend real $$ to this company and with thier products, and all you get is a lousy automated email response, don't they have a live customer servive who deals with kind of issue??
More than likely those emails are RMTers phishing for account info.
NCsoft has a bad rep and their support is one the worst I've ever had to deal with in an MMO.
It's was such bad experience I doubt I will support anymore of their games.

It looks like that's your problem right there. From the email that you posted, it sounds like you were suspended for receiving kinah from players who RMT. You got your account back after 72 hours, with instructions to not receive money from those sources anymore. You trusted that your legionmates had nothing wrong so you continued to play with them and receive kinah from them, so the ban was made permanent. I don't see a problem here. You should have left that legion alone after they got you banned the first time.
And I think it should be obvious that the response you were given was not "a lousy automated email response". The sender identified himself as GM Capori, identified the character you broke the rules on, identified the rule that you broke, told you when it happened, told you the amount of kinah transferred, and told you what their previous communication to you had warned you about. That is not a canned reply. That's a real person who double checked the logs to make sure they hadn't made an error.
Wow, that guy worded it very poorly. He should've been more polite about it. I will save you my comments on NCSoft cause I will most likely get banned if I express my opinion about this LOVELY company.
Anyways I would say start trying MMOs if you are looking for a new one. Most of them have trials except RIFT because it just go released. I wouldn't buy an MMO without personally trying it though. People on forums are very biased and you won't get a good idea of the MMOs on the market. So go for the trials ^_^

Are you **** joking? If player A trades with player B and player B uses "kinah" which player B got from RMT then player A will get banned.
Is this what you are saying? Cause this is absolutely ridiculous. How the **** am I supposed to know if a player trades me RMT-ed "kinah"? What if I am trading with random people from the chat?
