Aion, ToE or AoB

in Aion

So I was looking at returning to Aion, my main account password and so forth have been lost and they are sorting it out slowly.

 

I was looking at buying a CD key as it might be quicker, the problem I have is there are two Aions out there. Was AoB an expansion I need to buy in order for some of the new content? or is it just a new retail box more?

     It was a free expansion, so your client would just patch up the current version.

    You don't need ToE to play with AoB. And you don't have to buy AoB to play the latest content.

    With AoB you get pets and 30 days of gaming time.
