Tanks in l2

Hello, I will play this game again (after several years;) I left after Interlude) and want to make some tank (SK or DA) but I would like to know if there is point in making such class, cause they were useless (c4-interlude)- no needed for rb or exp partys, only good for oly.

Tanks are a very good class to play. There is alot of content in game that cant be done without a Tank but most of this is 76+ content. Raids almost always have a Tank but sometimes a well geared Titan / Destoryer can get the same job done. If thats the class you want to play I say go ahead and play it. Lineage 2 is a game thats changes all the time because of the free updates it gets so a class thats not good today can be deadly tommorrow. Just play what ever class you enjoy playing.

Unless you already have a 75+ toon or have a guild of friends waiting for you, there's no point playing atm. Progression is broken for new players - you'll reach level 60 in a few weeks but you won't have the money to gear up so you'll be stuck.

Like you I rejoined 2 months ago after a 5 year break. I'm putting my account on hold until High 5.

 

 You can get a Common A Grade Weapon for about 1-5M. You can buy a complete common A Grade Armor set for about 1-5M depending on if you buy the pieces or go for the whole set. My main is currently level 80 but I did not get my real A Grade gear till I was level 68. This was back when I paid 150M for a Dark Crystal Light set that can now be bought for 40M. Why tell this guy to not play the game because you are having a hard time? Why not ask for advice then tell somebody not to play?
