I think the 90's band 311 is from Omaha, Nebraska. That's pretty much all they've ever offered the world. Well, that and corn.

This is exactly what I was going to get at. They've been around like 15 years, and they are still the shit. It suprises me that such a unique sound comes out of Omaha, of all places.
