Noob needing advice
Hey,
So basically ima newbie when it comes to PC's specs but im delving in and going to build a sub £1000 pc myself for the first time have been reading around and wonder if a spec like this would be good for the new generation of MMorpgs such as Aion ( on max in mass pvp), Blade and soul,Tera and guild wars 2 ( mainly GW2 )

Ram : 4GB Corsair PC3-10666c9 1333MHz DDR3 ( would go higher if the otherboard can take more ram not sure how to tell if it can yet )

Is that case big enough for all this ?
Sorry for the noobie questions just want to ask ( mainly for re-assurance) before wading in and wasting money then realising i could have got better ( bought a pc Gamer magazine and Custom PC mag that helped me choose.

Get at least a 3.2Ghz processor. I recommend 3.4Ghz - 3.6GHz.
honestly when it comes to power supplies your only real concern (unless you care for the environment slightly) is the output. For your rig i think 600 should be fine, if you check your graphics card (one of the main power users) and see how much it need my rule of thumb is to simple double that and your set.
If you want SLI/Crossfire later on though you will need closer to 1k watts (depending on the card). I don't think you would need to do this or even worry about this in this early stage.
The ram is good though 1.3's aren't the best out there (though pretty good for a sub 1k rig).
As for the case:
1. find the size of your motherboard
2. find the internal space of your case
3. if the motherboard fits (is smaller than that space) then your halfway there
4. check pictures of your case and try and work out if your power supply will fit (watch for cables going everywhere) and your harddrives, dvd drives...ect
5. After all that is done your case should be fine but i would still do a quick google for reviews of it/find problems incase it is a small case (most cases are fine).

-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

and i read that the processor has turbo boost that pushes it to 3.2 ghz when needed and can be overclocked to around 3.8 ghz so plan on doing that ( or heading to the nearest computer shop to ask them to ).
And i dont even know what the crossfire stuff is so guess i definatley wont be doing that ^_^
The motherboard, processor, and video card are decent enough choices. You might want to consider waiting on the video card, as AMD is rumored to launch something both faster and cheaper as soon as next week, and almost certainly by the end of the month.
One case fan is not enough for that system. Without leaving that site, something like this will have plenty of room and come with two large fans:

The Antec TruePower New is a very nice power supply, but overkill, really. OCZ makes power supplies of wildly varying quality, so I tend to just ignore them rather than try to figure out if it's one of their good ones or one of their bad ones. You could probably save a few dollars by looking for an Antec EarthWatts Green 500 W, Antec TruePower New 550 W, Seasonic S12II Bronze 520 W, Corsair VX550, or Enermax Pro 82+ 525 W, and seeing if you can find any of those for cheaper than the two you're looking at. Be warned that the EarthWatts doesn't come with a power cord, as Antec figured they could save a dollar or so by telling you to reuse your old one.
Why two hard drives of 640 GB? It would be cheaper to get one larger hard drive. It would typically be faster, too, if you get a WD Caviar Black rather than blue. Or are you going for a RAID 1 setup or some such?
Don't forget an OS license.
Eh? Clock speed doesn't matter in its own right, but only performance. Instructions per cycle is a big deal, too--and perhaps a bigger deal than clock speed, as higher IPC doesn't require more voltage and much higher power consumption.

Err, what? No. You figure out how much power your system will need, and then buy something with more than that.

The motherboard doesn't support SLI, and has at best rudimentary support for CrossFire that only nominally works.

1.3 what? 1333 MHz? That's as fast as the memory controller supports.

Actually, I should probably bring up that the video card might not fit in the case. It certainly will fit in the Antec Three Hundred that I linked.

and would the rig at present be able to run gameplay and graphics such as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aZll4-vJw4&feature=related in a populated area do you think say 50+ players.
