Can deleted threads ever be restored?

When my threads got deleted for necroing them, I asked an admin, then a general "contact us" form if they could restore and lock the threads instead since a lot of my own history on this forum was on these threads.
They never responded. They have responded to other inquiries though.
You see, it's ultimately too much labor to find them on Google's Cache and copy/paste them to my other assets in order to save deleted threads so I thought it would save a lot of efforts to just have them restored.
So why is it hard to restore deleted threads? Why wouldn't they confirm or deny whether it's doable?

What's the matter? Please, someone give an answer.
I hate letting go of unsolved issues, this one being one of them. The oldest one I can recall is a totem pole I never got to finish in 3rd grade because something got in the way at school. I was a little sore about it so I still would like to build one even in the present, and Fedex/UPS it back to my 3rd grade teacher with instructions to display it in her class. That goes to show you how HORRIBLE I am in letting things go!

Okay, an admin alleges that unlike Wikipedia's system of simply storing deleted articles in a "deleted articlespace" where they can review and recover the article from, there's no such thing here so the threads are just deleted; not put into a "deleted space" where only admins can review and restore articles.
That is why I had to copy the threads from Google's Cache, and paste them to a blogsite in order to preserve them.
