LAG Am I alone?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hello,

I experience massive lag on the game since day 1 of the head start. But since day 2 I can't even play or do quest because I lag too much. Am I the only one to experience this. please share your experience.

    The only real lag I expirence that isn't from graphics is the shameful amount of time it takes for windows to come up and close out. Could call it UI lag. Honestly I think the servers are in Japan though so your never goin to run this game as fast as most other MMO's

    UI/gameplay lag, or performance stuttering?

    I'm not having any problems with UI lag except occassionally in crowded areas

    If your taking a performance hit, try turning all graphics options in .config to low, and turn the physics/extended drawing/character shadows off in the in-game configuration menu.
