DAoC vet LFGame~

I've pretty much played Dark Age of Camelot all I can. With several rr7s+ on Mordred, Ywain and freeshards, I eventually became so bored I played Gaheris, where I got about 6 rr12s and about 40 more characters ranging from rr6 to rr11. I have multiple characters on Molvik and Thidranki that have Bane of X / Master Soldier / Battle Enforcer, and even a couple chars that are halfway to Lone Enforcer.

I've basically burned myself out on every aspect of the game. I'm looking for a game that preferably has a healthy combination of PvE and PvP and is possibly a sandbox. With that in mind, I am completely open to something that does not follow those lines, as long as you genuinely believe it is fun. It is a major bonus if the game is visually pleasing.

If you have any suggestions or questions, please reply.

Thank you! :)

edit: I've played WoW, EVE, and CoH which didn't really catch my interest.

That's an impressive history in daoc. I'm glad to hear you got so much fun out of it. The sucky thing is that I don't think anything will be able to compare.

All I can recommend is to check out the usual suspects of recommendations for pvp and what not - Darkfall, AoC, GW, and whatever else I'm missing.

Thanks. After doing a little research I'm checking out EQ2 since an rl friend plays it. If that's a flop, I'll probably try out Mortal Online.

    Cheers

Do youself a favor and do some research about MO before buying it . .. I do like that by playing the game I at least gave them money to support what they are trying to do but the game is not playable imo as my main game or even a side game.

EQ2 .. . is like SOEs version of WoW . ... for the casual masses.

Darkfall is the next best thing imo. Their PVE and PVP is way ahead of DAoC and the game is still being improved a lot.

Regnum Online has RvRvR in a F2P way so it's perhaps a poison chalice... GW2 will have WvWvW when releases (eta ime: 12mths however).
