Ranger pets - control hot keys?

Is there a way to control ranger pets with hot keys, by luck I subbled on the GUI that lets me lock,guard and heel but I canot find any hot keys to use these abilities.. there are hot keys called Pet command 1,2 & 3 but these don't do anything.
