Any trading aspects to this game?

I've read pretty much everything I can get my hands on for this game but something that doesn't seem to get mentioned is trading. Not just player to player auctiion-house style but commodity trading between planets / stations, etc.?
Does anyone know if this is in yet?

In 2007-2008 it was in. The new Producer said in his interview a few months ago that it was out.
The old Jumpgate game had it, and that's still running.
