Because people are always making threads, 'should I play this!!??111', 'what should I play???1?' without trying it for themselves in the first place.
To be brutally honest you should be more worried about people who are persuaded one way or another about whether or not to try something by randoms on a forum, then the people saying 'x is crap'.
As for 'place' this is a forum, no one is forcing anything on anyone, people can say the sky is green and the grass is blue, you are supposed to be intelligent enough to take it for what it is and form your own opinion.
Again with putting responsibility completely on the part of the hearer or "recipient". The poets should be censored!

Back on topic: A game still in beta would have to be absolutely horrendous in many different ways before I would recommend people avoid preordering it, and I wouldn't try to dissuade anyone from trying a free trial unless the game was a cesspool of malware. And I certainly wouldn't violate a closed beta NDA.
I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.

Lol Madi! No not the inbred ones hehe. My prof used to say that although Plato believed people would stay within their social class for the most part, that it sould still be possible for people to move between them. So there would ideally be a steady stream of fresh genes. :P
