New Flightstick... What to play?

I was feeling nostalgic. So I bought a flight stick. Sadly, X-Wing Alliance doesn't work on Windows 7.

So what should I buy? Are there any good flight sims that have come out in the past 5 years even?

Any suggestions?

You could give Battleground Europe / WWII Online a whirl. Air combat there is a blast. I enjoyed both fighters, lvl bombing, and strategic bombing during my time playing the game. It has also seen a lot of improvement and updates lately, so I would certainly recommend it. Otherwise theres always the safe bet of the Il-2 series, althought thats not within the last 5 years...

I definately want to make sure its something that will work with Windows 7.

I do love old fashioned warplanes though, so I'll consider that option.

Dogfighting is my favorite thing to do, which comes as no surprise, I'm sure.

I'm hoping that Jumpgate: Evo game comes out soonish.

Try Wings of Prey. There is a demo.

A flightstick, ah that takes me back to multiplayer Freespace 2. Man I miss that game. I don't think I've played a flight sim since then, maybe I should give the genre a go again.
