These are the Sandbox, hybrid, obscure themepark and Sandboxy Games I know of off the top of my head.

When your tired of WoW clones you tend to go through obscure titles to find something that doesn't remind you of wow clones.
I've tried every game on that list and while ill keep my opinion of each game to myself to avoid thread derailment i still only play Eve out of the bunch.

I tried out that Dungeon Fighter Online game, it's pretty cool if you like old school arcade fighting games. I may actually keep plyaying it
Theres a stickied forum post called 'Underrated games that provide a whole new experience', it gives a list of all those sandbox games plus a description. It's missing a few, but its still a pretty good list.
