How does pvp gear stack up to pve gear as far as PVP goes. I heard in prior expansions pvp gear was better than pve gear at pvp, but now it has flopped.

PVE gear is not better than PVP gear when you play PVP.

but pve weapons can be better if your just starting out arena weapons are not easy to obtain.
