I think I remember when DDO went there was a longish patch to switch it over. That and them replacing the download on the internet pages / ad's should be the only change.
If you're wondering if you should delete what's on your computer and doing a fresh load, I'd say wait until it's closer to the switchover date and see what the official word is.
