From my super deciphering skills, I've come to the conclusion that it's a countdown timer (derp) and the final number is probably for days, and it is currently at 240 ..

 

What is it counting down for? Beta? Release?

Have they said anything about it or it just a mind¤#%"?

Would love some input on this.

 It's supposed to be for something in 2012, at least thats what the devs and community said when I asked. Not launch related.

OP: I'm afraid you may be mistaken. Today's counter seems to read 935 day. Here's a list of the arabic numerals and what the Secret World ones look like (normal numbers left, secret world right):

0= o

1=1

2=2

3=3

4=8

5=4

6= exagerated E

7= 6

8= t like character

9= backwards 3 or non-exagerated E

 

So the oE(non-exagerated)34 that is on there today is 0935

That countdown is at 927 today and it's not counting for game's publish, it's counting for 21st.December.2012 - the theoretical armageddon date (as Maia'n Calender etc)

If they're not planning to publish it at the same time with that anyway
