google annouced an open source  program called webm today.will this be a competitor to h264.

    heres how it is!

    google,mozilla,opera(probably linux also since this is open source without royalty (quality is better the h264)

    interesting, but, there are a plethora of the things, one more won't really have any impact...

    Microsoft always supports open source software that they don't currently own an alternative proprietary solution to.

    good luck the way its made google owns it .but its open source and its royalty free!(wonder how this will works

    but all major are in (only ms isnt in )
