This is why SE never really listens to the NA player base and I for one am glad. NA players in general just want to criticize, blah blah blah, No jumping, slow combat, UNBELIEVABLE: two name system, it goes on and on.

I'm guessing May for Beta
originally it was planned to end Alpha on 4/25 but issues came up, so perhaps a few more weeks into May and we can start to expect Beta hopefully.

nice link thanks for posting it. as for open beta they might have open beta from sept-dec then release FFXIV in middle dec or late dec befor xmas so probaly dec 12-23 and most likly will be on a tuesday becuz thats the normal release date for all new items to come out every week in the us so thats about it really.
