It's been almost a year since the last time i've played the game. I love it but the Mission Architect completely ruined the immersion for me because of the rampant farming and power leveling it introduced to the game. Regular teaming dropped conisderably after its release. Task Forces became a rarity. Many of my friends succumbed to MA's exploitation. Casually hanging out at Atlas Park became a thing of the past. The constant LFG spam started to annoy the crap out of me and i eventually quit my subscription. I Am looking forward to Issue 17 and Going Rogue but i am hesitant to return.
What say ye?
Have the devs addressed the numerous exploits of the MA or is it still as bad as it was after its inital release?

At this point, pretty much every using-AE-for-farming loophole has been closed. There might still be a few lesser ones, but you don't often see people LF AE teams anymore, at least, no more than anything else.
They've been pretty good at making sure MA isn't used for farming actually. It used to be really bad, but it's pretty good now.
Thank god, i joined a 2 months before MA came out and left 2 weeks after. MA was like the infamous Dungeon Group finder that was added to WoW that Ive heard about not long ago. Theres no point in finding teams in different areas anymore. Everyone was just in that one building spamming LFG. Let alone that you dont get influence badges or kill badges or anything for MA. Doing MA only gets you the the MA badges

There's still farming but doing it in MA has scaled back a bit as others have noted (e.g. Battle Maiden).
Ideally, the MA mission finder interface has to be reworked with a broader spectrum of traings (1-10 rather than 1-5) and the ability to add some tags. Tags would really make a difference, assuming people could label a mission a farm and then simply exclude it, assuming devs would allow such "legitimate" farms if people desire. At any rate, I think MA would get better use if "real" storylines could be easily grouped together and ranked without the presence of farm maps.
Have they resolved the server issues yet? I remember them being swamped and unable to handle the load every time there's a double xp weekend or when a new issue comes out. Speaking of Issues. When is Issue 17 exactly supposed to come out?
I play on satellite connection and rarely have issues. The only time I notice a slowdown is during a Rikti invasion when there are 50 or more players gathered in one spot, all firing off colorful powers while 50+ mobs attack. I17 is in closed beta right now, and the grapevine says live release by end of the month at the very latest.
