Thirsting for some awsome Mecha action

Can anyone suggest a good mecha themed game for Xbox 360, Wii, or PC? The more the mecha resemble the human frame the better, I'm not into those western style chicken legged walker very much but don't let that stop you from posting if you think a game that involves western mechs is a good game.
Also AC for answer isn't an option since i play that every now and thens till..and impatiently waiting for AC 5!!!!

The closest anyone came in my opinion was NCSoft's ExTeel, but I found it too buggy and glitchy, not to mention the whole "The person with the most money spent wins" type BS you get with the whole marketplace style of play.

Or pick up one of the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam games. They're simple as hell, but always good for a bit of dumb fun if you wanna chop up some giant robots by the thousands.

What ever happened to the mech warrior series? Did game devs just up and decide that noone was interested anymore?

Nah, they're working on a new one. I think it's just called "Mechwarrior", but it looks great. As long as I can use my old double joystick config again, I'll be happy.

Im pretty sure that mechwarrior 5 was canceled and that was the trailer for it, also pertaining to Exteel..I do play it every now and then; its fun but kinda broken and I've run into quite a few glitchers and such that it gets annoying. If you guys want a good third peson shooter game, google SDGO (SD gundam online) quite fun but its a foreign game so its only out in Chinese, Korean, and soon Japanese but still MUCH better than Exteel. Now pertaining to perpetuum (spelling?) it looks horrible to me..all clanky and looks like the same old point and click type of playing as EvE and thats just not for me..i was hoping something fast paced with boosts, aiming and some good old melee and shit something similar to Exteel. Also I do have DW: Gundam 2 as well. I guess there really isn't anything out there right now? Or am I too picky?
Don't wait, you can get into Perpetuum's beta right now. I got in like an hour after I applied a few months ago.
There's one coming out later this year/early next year called Metal Rage. I'm sure it will peak your interests.
Ahh yeah thats right I did forget about metal rage, game looks sicks as hell too. I haven't checked in months but as far as i know theres no release date or beta going on right now. Hopefully it does come out later this year.
