Ability to delete posts?

The title pretty much says what I am wanting to suggest.
Is it possible to allow users to delete their own postings? There have been times when I have needed to do this but I need to report my own post in order to do this. I know that other forums will allow you to do this through editing your post, there is usually an option to delete it.
I'm not sure what kind of forums MMORPG.com might be using (vbulletin, invision power boards, etc.) or if it is uniquely programmed for this site and the option isn't possible at the moment.
Anyway here is my suggestion. (:
