Lag bottlenecking problems for an Australian player.

Hello Folks.

I would really like to play this game again but for some reason ever since I changed my computer which is pretty high end I seem to encounter extreme lag spikes and bottlenecking. Really frustrating! My provider is TPG . I get 10 ms ping from ping test.

My specs .

Core2 e8500

Gtx 285

4 gb ram

750ww PSU

GamerLOunge Dlink router.

Any advice would be great.

First thing you might want to try is another PC, even a friends PC and see if you get the same lag/bottlenecking.

It could be a number of things, and I could have sworn I read something about Austrailian players having odd latency issues with AoC as of late.

Is the internet connection wireless or wired through the router?

Also could it be the first time on your new PC you are entering the areas where they take a while to load up?

Any particular zone / server happening on?

Since you had your new system, maybe silly question but is the motherboard and GPU drivers up to date?

Have you seen any Blue Screen of Deaths at all in any games?

Try checking out D-Links website for the latest firmware update for your model of router too.
