After this, Steam and Global Agenda disappeared from the list in add/remove programs.
But still - when I go into the Steam folder in C:/programfiles it shows it takes up nearly 8 GB
A) installed Steam
Installed Global Agenda
C) Uninstall Steam - got an error
D) Steam and GA disappeared from add/remove list of programs
E) Steam remained with GA in the folder taking up8GB - with no chance to uninstall it whatsoever. I have to remove it manually from the hard disc and then run registry cleaner.
This is a fine piece of software I have to say.
All Steam gamefiles are stored in the Program FIlesSteamsteamapps folder. Delete the games before uninstalling Steam. Steam *did* uninstall, but it left its gamefiles. Normally you can opt in or out during uninstall to uninstall games as well.
If anyone is still having trouble getting in, try going to Hi-Rez's homepage and there should be a link for the trial there. Originally, GARFRIEND or w/e it was didn't work for me, but FREETRIAL did.
