Duo / Group play

Any know how Duo / Group play would work out in SW: TOR?

As in. If you decide to level with some one (or a group of people) all the time. Would the game accompany that or would you and your friend have to do the same dialogue twice, quest twice, etc.

Can you see the decisions your friends make in the dialog?

Also any one know if you can chose your light saber blade colors? ie. Jedi Knight can wield a red blade whilst a Sith warrior can wield a blue one.

Im one of those that think that it will be similar to AOC as you have your personal story and outside that the missions, quests, etc you can team up with others. They havent said much on crafting but given the previous KOTOR games you could change your blade's crystal. Im sure they will cntinue this trend.

(BBBBBBBBBBWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH installs illegal plunger weaponry on hte Milenium Falcon. Han solo is impressed.)

All my opinions are just that..opinions. If you like my opinions..coolness.If you dont like my opinion....I really dont care.

Yes, they said you would be able to group from level 1. When a group member enters a flashpoint (a decision making part) your whole team will be there. You will be able to influence your teammates decision by some sort of rolling system.  If you win the roll for that decision then you take the reigns of the conversation for that instant.

You will also be able to choose light saber colors. So far the regular colors will be in game... though we aren't sure if they will implement pure white or darksabers yet. (white sabers were in the original kotor games so it is most likely)

Partially true. According to this interview (http://darthhater.com/2010/03/15/interview-story-time-with-daniel-erickson/) there will be two types of missions - personal story missions and world story missions. The world story missions will work like above where conversations and decisions will be randomly attributed to different party members. Personal story missions can also be done with group members, but only the character whose story you are engaged in can make the decisions.

    Sounds awesome.

Getting more hyped about this mmo by the day. Was a little uncertain with its future after being backed by EA upon announcement of it.

It's quite nice to do a "quest" that requires thought rather than mindless "kill x" "find x" "gather x" all the time. Always enjoyed the decision making in the first two KOTORs and mass effect.

What intrigues me most about this mmo is when you are presented with a moral choice... what would your friends do? Always wondered that when playing the solo games.

Yeah, this is huge, especially compared to other MMOs.  You don't have to be blindly led around and hoodwinked if you don't want to.  You get to meaningfully interact with the world.
