I have said it once and will say it again. Just because WoW has most subs does NOT mean its the best, 90% of the American public are morons, plus the kiddie factor, cartoon factor, and easy mode factor. And that every MMO copies another MMo to a degree, dam everyone ripped off EQ, first real 3D mmo. IMHO btw i live in USA so dont start
Don't forget the "b00st me pl0x n00b" factor which half the noobs are implying to me.

Game of the decade, doesn't mean the best game, IMO. WoW is the game that has had the biggest impact on society in general the last decade, with an abismal difference, so well deserved.
Guys settle down. WoW is accessible, it is infact a stupid game. And the fact that it IS a stupid game doesn't mean it does NOT deserve the title of GOtD(urgh). So as i said, this was the decade of stupid.
Whats so stupid about it?? wow is still the hardest and most challanging mmo there is on the market, its also the easiest for those who wants to play casual.

What?? The hardest? Where? Isn't character progression still babysitted, quest by quest, always knowing where to go and what to do because you're constantly TOLD in the quest description?
I was there, i quit when i participated in a few raids. I only had to /follow and obey the orders(do this do that, attack now, don't target, target now and because i was a stupid rogue, i only had to spam the backstab key with my trusted Pekkröinn).
I don't get it, what's so challenging about WoW? EVE is way more challenging, because its system is 10 times more complex, vast, messy.
Infact, if WoW had been challenging, it wouldn't have had success. This is the secret of its success, that because it's relaxing and easy it attracted so many non-gamers. And that's what convinced all the MMO company to make easier and easier games.
I'd give WoW credit for being MMO of the decade... but game?
I hear people talking about console game a lot, but I can't remember the last time I heard someone talk about WoW out in public. I'm forced into a pretty social role normally between my bass students, downtime before or after gigs when I talk to a lot of random people, before classes with tons of college kids sitting around, and the hundreds of people at my church when I play there on the weekends. I don't have one friend who plays MMOs in my everyday life, well besides my brother, but almost everyone I know has an Xbox or a Wii.
Yeah Xbox Live has 14 million subscribers, Halo all totaled up has sold way more boxes than WoW, and heck if you really want to go there.. Sims blew WoW out of the water in box sales this last decade. People within the MMO genre have a much different view of the world, obviously biased when it comes to how significant they think that they are, and will always be favoring an MMO for any game award to be given.

Congratz on proving that your knowledge about the game is on the same level as a goat. You proved that you get your information about the game from haters.
I could argue that all games are stupid tbh. Getting all high and mighty because you are "above wow and everyone who enjoys is" is even more stupid. That computer game is stupid, but this computer game isnt. How silly.
Please tell me how is Hps simulations Panzer Campaigns: Smolensk '41 a stupid game. Stupidity is not the right word, and it's not meant in an offensive way, anyway. It means that a game doesn't require mental activity. There are many games that require concentration, cleverness, tactics and even study.

Lol no, my friend, you won't get away this easy with the usual troll net memes of congratz, failzor and catz
As i already told you, i was a rogue, i was Pekkröinn on (OBVIOUSLY) ROLEPLAYING server Earthen ring. I was member of the Ironforge Guards!
The game is about quests and raids. Quest descriptions tell you exactly where to go, how many rats to kill, and they give you the rewards.
In raids you go for the rewards, you follow the raid leaders' orders... and the raid leaders didn't of course understand the tactics by themselves, they read 'em from the sites.
So, again, what's so challenging about WoW, please tell me.

Playing: EVE, Final Fantasy 13, Uncharted 2, Need for Speed: Shift

And who wrote the guides your fail guild read in order to beat the encounters? not you, oh no. You just took a ride on the work of other, better players than you.

You gotta be kidding me.
1 or 2 persons(probably even informations leaked from Blizzard's staff itself ) out of 11million ROBOTS, because yes that's what we were, DPS ROBOTS, that's what ALL persons are in WoW when raiding, they are not needed for opinions, for socialization, for their feelings, they are simple, humiliating addendum or dividendum of numbers, so these 2 persons who actually find tactics out of 11 million of robots who follow orders doesn't make A LOT OF positive statistics of challenge and intelligence. Im sure you agree

Just because your guild treated its members like cog wheels doenst mean all guilds do. Maybe find better online friends? I dunno.I played wow with 2 / 3 friends (who I met in wow I might add and who are still good friends today, even though we havent played wow in over a year), raided a bit, but not much, and had a nice time overall. Perhaps because I find joy in little things, like simply blowing other people up, and fishing.
And maybe the part in yellow its true. Or maybe you're just full of shit, which in my opinion is the most plausible scenario.
The challenge in WoW is dealing with the raiding community and the chat in trade channel. I have seen convicted murderers treat each other with more decency.

I don't agree with this. A lot of the new hardmode stuff requires quick decision making, and reaction.
If you think Tetris on level 12+ isn't challenging, and doesn't require intelligence, then I guess I can see where your coming from.
You wouldn't know what I am talking about if you've never done them before. Of course, the more you practice something the easier it becomes, but many of the encounters are hardly static anymore.
Ulduar kind of changed the scale raids could be measured with.
Nothing excites jaded Grandmasters more than a theoretical novelty
So, again, what's so challenging about WoW, please tell me.
PvP. Just like any other MMO. Another player is always going to give you the toughest fight. That said, I've just started raiding some of the newer raid instances. Blizz has gone out of their way to make them challenging.
Omg battlegrounds are challenging??? C'mon!
As for the new raids, you beat them once following orders, then you have to wait 2 more years for the new ones to be again spoiled by raid members.
there's no challenge in this. In my times we would even SPAM the raids to get the gear auctions going on. So again no challenge in repeating what you already know. I don't know if GEAR whoring changed now.
But there is NO way someone would actually care about finding tactics... OBVIOUSLY people only care about the gear and to show it off. A MMO shouldn't be about gear.
And my guild was RP only(the ironforge guards simply guard ironforge. Duh?), i went to raids with other guilds.

Bascially anyone who says WOW is easy, would have to show an armory profile that proved it. Otherwise, they're a bitter little troll and nothing more. Leveling up IS easy. But WOW as an entire game is as hard as any MMO. Its a fact. Eve is easier to level up in than WOW. Thats also a fact, but I'd never say Eve is easy. Perspective. Most trolls just don't have it.

I would of probably guessed any of the Zynga Titles like Farmville, or Mafia Warz.
If you think about it, facebook app games changed the way people interact on social networking sites.
Yes, these games can barely be called games, but they have broken ground for what may become a very exciting gaming genre.
