I have just reinstalled WoW and have got all my addons installed and setup correctly in game but everytime I r4estart the game all my UI settings & windows are reset to default in the centre of my screen. Any ideas what might be causing this and whether or not there is a fix for it?

don't worry, coffee should be along any time posting that it's all working as intended and it's all Bliz's early New Years gift to the players :P
ta'da!!! here I am to save the day =D
Sounds like the mod or mods ya using are not working as intended or incompatible with each other, disable all mods and run 1 mod if that works as intended run another mod if both are working run a 3rd... untill you get the mod thats causing the issue.
What mods are you using?
Oj and be sure to check noth http://www.wowinterface.com/find.php and http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/default.aspx to ensure you have the most uptoday versions.
Blizzard advice would be to delete your WTF folder (in you main wow folder) and let the client download the files again.. worth a try If all else fails.
lol I was close :P
I'm only using a few basic ones my friend suggested.
Quest helper
Bartender4
Cartographer
XPbarnone
Xperl
Any other good Addons that you can suggest for a Priest that will be pvping with a lock will be helpful also
I tried uninstalling all the addons and everything still resets to default. it isnt ju8st my UI but everything reverts to default. Player & NPC names arent shown and i have to reselect it all everytime i log in
Any ideas? This is so annoying and time consuming to have to do this everytime i login it is making me not want to start to play the game lol. Eq2 is rapidly tempting me back
Curious if you are logging out properly. Not sure it that is a problem with WoW, but in other MMOs I have played the settings didn't save until I zoned or logged out property. So if I DCed and didn't zone I basically had to do everything all over again. Just a thought.
Also when you uninstalled did you completely remove the folder after uninstalling (a number of files are left behind in the uninstall process). If there is a file that is corrupted it might not be removed in an uninstall. Uninstalling and then completely removing the WoW folder would definitely get rid of any potential problems.
