How does a newbie survive in Darkfall?
If this is a stupid question or stupid post in general, I apologize in advance. DF is completely PvP, I get that, but is there anywhere that players are safe? Are there guards in towns? Can playes just run up and kill another player anytime while the guards stand there and do nothing? Or do the guards react in any way, etc..? DF sounds very interesting to me. The challenge of starting out in a dangerous world sounds challenging and fun to me, though I am not sure I would enjoy standing at a vendor while in a town just trying to restock on food and water to suddenly find myself starting over again and again and again. Since it is full loot etc, what does a newbie do if he gets killed and loses everything. How do you kill "low level" mobs that are too strong if you don't even have a simple weapon? How would I get a simple weapon if I'm not able to kill said mobs, etc..?
If anyone would be so kind as to clear up some of this stuff for me, I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks in advance and i hope you're having a great Christmas filled with magic and wonder.

Basic simple steps for a N00B to survive in ANY game.
Darkfall have a dangerous world and a steep learning curve.
However, if you just spend time in the city and kill some goblins, trolls, zombies for the first few days....you will have gear and skills to begin to explore the world. Some notice in just a few ghours how the goblins goes from evil killing machines to easy mobs to grind : )
There will be some noobganking. Try and team up with other noobs and stick togeather.
