Until 24 Dec one can d/l (download) the early 90s adventure/detective-mystery Tex Murphy game series for free, a 27MB d/l includes Mean Streets (flight sim) and Martians Memorandum (digitized human voices).
1991 was like dynasaur era (1950s) for computer gaming, about the time of the 64bit Microprocessor (16bit was early 70s, 32bit 80s, no gaming 64bit till early 2000s, AMD64), Mac System7 and Windows3 OS (no Windows 95 nor DirectX 1 until 1995) 256 colour VGA! This was the good ole days of paper tape drives and boxes of punched cards...
