Website errors are back.

It seems all the errors went away for the entire week, but now they are back again.

Also if i view any thread, when i try to go back ,i ALWAYS have to use "resend" even then it does not work,i have to end up using the home icon.

Can you post a screenshot or more details concerning website errors?  I'm not having any errors on the site and haven't been getting reports of them.  Please help me track these errors down you are seeing and we'll try to get them fixed up.

The errors are several. When you hit backspace it always asks for resend and never works.Sometimes when you hit a topic it sends you to the forums and not the topic.

Sometimes out of nowhere the page goes to a plain white format, all colours lost, there is no option to edit post.Sometimes there is new colours that form on the page that make some of the words hard to read because it is a sort of blackish brown colour over black typing.I can't think of more offhand but there is definitely something wrong for sure.

That sounds pretty bad.  I'd definitely be getting a ton of emails from users if this was a widespread issue.  What browser are you using does the same thing happen if you use a different browser?

I'm also getting various errors.  on Linux using Firefox with adblock plus (easylist USA filter) the site is totally borked, content is just vertically pasted onto the screen and essentially useless.  This started today.

On Mac OSX using safari, some links are not loading such as Richard Aihoshi's latest blog, "Year end pot luck".

I can understand you not being able to support a working site with ads blocked, but the blog link below is definitely an error:

    http://www.mmorpg.com/showFeature.cfm/loadFeature/3872/YearEnd-Pot-Luck.html

edit:  Ok, I uninstalled adblock and it didn't help.  Not working: Ubuntu9.10, firefox 3.5.6.  Site is working on Windows7 firefox 3.5.6.  How's that for weird?

The link to the feature you're referring to has been fixed and was in our content management system and a human error.  I'm not sure anyone on our team uses Linux so testing will be an issue for us to recreate the problem but I'll ask around.

Does this happen in a non beta browser as well?

For me, it seems to be just the new Firefox beta client that came out today.

It sounds like maybe the css isn't loading for you guys.  Have you tried a force refresh of the site and maybe clear your site cache to force the css to reload?

Haven't had to do that in a while, never really though of it.

Forced Refresh and cleaned cache and here's where I'm at now.

edit: If i switch to the gray theme as opposed to the black theme it works fine... I should probably start digging around my own cache for something I missed

Thanks for the quick responses Meddle.  For whatever reason, everything is loading fine for me now.

i think i had in the past, the white page here with the various webpage links detailed line by line listed, this due to FireFox bottom right corner little red flag icon (RequestPolicy [ver 0.5.12]) through which one can designate permissions to the web site. This add-on for firefox browser (ver 1.9.1.3622) is good to block popups, redirect and cookies some web sites force on you.

Also got Adblock Plus but it's stopsign icon is top right, to the right of the google search. Not sure to what extent it blocks stuff.

When i had the white page problem with Firefox, i would try IE8 browser and the mmorpg.com web page looked normal.
