one of the things i liked about wow was getting to know people in other countrys

i dont play anymore but one of the best things about wow was getting to know people that played in other countrys . my closest wow friends ended up being from the netherlands , sweeden ,greece and south africa . funnily enough i did nt meet that many of my fellow brits in the game , i m now playing lotro and its inundated with them . lol . in some ways i feel a little sorry for the north american players because they cant have the same diversity of players . maybe im wrong ?

You are in a similar time zone as all of those countries, so it is natural that you meet players from those areas during your playtime.
I have always played with people from different countries since UO times. A good portion of my guild right now lives in Europe.
