Yea no offense, but when I was running in 1680x1050 (widescreen) with AA on and all the settings maxed it actually looked better than higher resolution with lower settings.

How much lower settings.. I just dont' have AA on.

Everythign else was CRANKED.

I was at MAX settings at that resolution and it looked fine, but i had AA off, cause on my monitor at that resolution, didnt' need AA.. it looked SPARP

Well I wasn't saying your settings were lower. What I said was a general statement. Games tend to look better in a lower resolution if you can crank the settings. Though I have to admit, but maybe I just didn't notice, the textures in your pics look kinda plain. That and the AA was the only thing I noticed that seemed different between my game and your pics. It might have been the picture format though as compression often takes away the beauty.

Yea.. looking at high resolution screenshots are not always the best.

Cause you are looking at my screen shots on yoru current resolution wich means... aliasing will be what ever your monitos resolution is set too, and the texture resolution will also be what you are set to "kinda of like stretching the image. (e.i. if texture resolution is 512x512, on a lower resolution screen it would look better cause it isn't stretching the pixels across a larger plane. )

and the AA on MY monitor when your look at that screenshot is far less noticable if you look at that same screenshot on your monitor unless you use the same resolution I used.

PS: I could have use some 16x AF to clear things up.
