Hey there my mom picked this up for me the other day. It's the DDO: Stormreach box still sealed. Will it still work and if so is it the same as free or does it give me any extras? Thanks

It gives you 1 month of VIP subscription.
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
So probably the way to go is to download the free game, play until you feel you need the extra content, then apply the code. Not that I know if this will work.
It will also consider your account a "premium" account afterward.
After your VIP month you'll end up with:
4 character slots instead of 2
Whatever gear that you stashed in your now withdrawal only account bank
No restrictions on chat/mail/auction house
Plus you get 500 turbine points for your VIP month.

is there any hassles involved of changing from VIP t0 Premium?
will it be automatic once the free month expires, turns your account to premium or do i have to inform Turbine abt it?
