Forum Feature Suggestion: Sort By Post Relevancy

Some forums have the option of sorting posts by relevancy. That is, the general oppinion if the post is relevant to the discussion or useful / informative in some way.
The reason iam thinking about this is becouse theres just to many people, to many oppinions and to little time.
Adding a + and - voting button on each post can help us boil down a 100+ post tread to a few well written, informative or oppinionated posts that sum up what the community is thinking.
It should be optional to sort. So if someone want to read everything, they can.
