How does looting work in groups?

So how does looting work in EQ2 for groups?

This was one reason why I didn't like to group in EQ. Everyone would fight over the loot.

If you had a loot order it wasn't always easy to follow.

A good item would drop and everyone would beg for it or someone would pick it up out of order then run.

Unless a person was agressive with looting, or was luckly enough to have a set group ti hunt with, it was hard to advance both with exp and cash.

They have 3 choices:

Leader's discretion

Order of drop

Lotto style.

if you're new and start a party, this is the default settings for loot. change it right away to lotto cuz %90 of people won't party with you if you don't.

EQ2 Mantra: Get more RAM. Get more RAM.

Hmm actually I don't think there is an "order of drop" loot. I"m pretty sure it's Free-for-all.

Well hot damn! I am surprised they never implemented that in EQlive.

That would piss me off to no end when you got a ninja looter in the group. This will be a nice addition to the game.

yes i hated ninja looting.

Correct me if Im wrong but SWG had that and I always got sick of the scouts arguing of who should or should not harvest the krayt dragon meat.

options>game>group option = Leader Only, Free For All, Lottery choices
