*sigh* another post about grinding?! Man you guys are cry babies.  Next you'll want NCsoft to level your toon for you. If you don't like it stfu and play WOW or another game that you "feel' has less of a grind.  Its like going into a resturant and complaining about the food over and over. It doesn't accompolish anything and its been done a hundred times so its not even an original complaint.

I agree with Nho1983 if you have not played any MMO after 2004 then you have no idea what  grind is.  Tired of you people complaining about grinding in a game tha has only been out for 3 wks? How dumb is that.

What grind? I think progress is just fun unless you don't care anything else but the 'endgame', grind is there so you can get to know the class you're playing or just as a timesink, while you grind there is a lot of places to discover and sights to see, while I hate to agree that Abyss is not *that* big. :)

    1.  Too lazy to look around

    2. Die too many times and lost too much xp, so they can't level up.  (Yes, you can fix your XP but part of XP is lost forever)

    3.  Decide to skip all "Group quests"

There are 1000+ quests for each faction.

    Pandaemounium - 88
    Ishalgen - 46
    Altgard - 114
    Mortheim - 211
    Brusthonin - 102
    Belusion - 211
    Abyss - 413

So how many quests have you done totally?

Across Algard and Mortheim, about 300 give or take a few. Thats also not counting the repeatable coin quests, which Ive done about 10-15 of each

Then you are lying. LOL because Mortheim level ranges are 20-40, so you are only early 20s, there is no way you can find that many quests to do in Mortheim.  Most of peopel would go to Brusthonin to do part of lvl 20s quests.

Well Ive also got better things to do than count my quest, I was also just throwing a number out there without actually taking into consideration what numbers youve posted. A more logical estimation would be 200 or so. I just went to Brusthonin because I didnt know what levels were there

Sorry man but you've been throwing a lot of bullcrap and the previous quoted post is proof that you are pretending to have done and completed all quests in Mortheim  which you probably have not.

Lol, i just imagined playing Aion on Projekt Natal. It would be more exhausting then military training. Nah, i think the MMO genre should stick to mouse and keyboard as long they consist of 100 hours+ grind chains...

In the end all that can be taken away from these 20+ pages, is that no matter how long or short leveling takes there will always be people who are upset they cant level as fast as everyone else and those that are upset that they level so fast.  The optimum pace of leveling will never be agreed upon, not even within the faceless, formless, mass that is the casual community (i count myself in there as well).
